Humpback Rocks is popular among many due to its location. While it is a short hike, one mile to the rocks and one mile back, it can be a difficult hike as it climbs approximately 800 feet but once at the top, the views are amazing. For a leisurely hike/walk, try out the Blue Ridge Tunnel Trail. Also known as the Crozet Tunnel Trail, this trail was originally designed as the passage of the Blue Ridge Railroad by Claudius Crozet. Extending a short 0.8 miles, you can stretch your legs without over extending yourself.

The DelFosse Trail is a 5.5 mile loop that is open to both hikers and bikers. Winding through rocks and through the forest of the Blue Ridge Mountain, there is so much to take in while on this beautiful hike. Beginning and ending at the DelFosse Winery, you could’t find a better spot for a hike.

While some of these trails have a beginner skill level, always take precautions before and while hiking.
